Service Alert Republic Services Closed Monday

As we all know we are expecting a sizable storm in our service area. I want to reassure you that our municipal customers come first in these types of weather events. Our plan is to be closed on Monday with the hope of re-opening on Tuesday. We will treat the pickup like a holiday week so for example if your normal service day is Monday, Monday would be moved to Tuesday. Tuesday would be Wednesday and then repeat until Saturday. We know to expect additional volumes. My ask is to communicate to the residents if possible to have a clean collection area to the best of their abilities. Our teams will go above and beyond for service, but they can’t risk injury. Thank you, in the meantime if you have any questions please feel free to reach out.

With this expected delay our plan is to service Trumbauersville on Thursday for both trash and recycling.

MAJOR SNOWSTORM SUNDAY – MONDAY
Please do yourself and your neighbors a huge favor and have your
parked vehicles off of all streets in Trumbauersville Borough beginning immediately but certainly by NOON Sunday, February 22.
Parking in borough owned lots at the borough office and Veterans Park is available on a first-come basis. Don’t wait!
Failure to have your vehicle off the street when a SNOW EMERGENCY is called may result in enforcement action, including towing your vehicle (and nobody wants that!)
Snow plowing was a true challenge for crews during our last storm even with cars off the streets. Let’s not make it harder on them this time! Thank you for your assistance and cooperation!

THE FEBRUARY 16TH, 2026 PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING

HAS BEEN CANCELED.

———————————————————————————————————–

MESSAGE FROM REPUBLIC SERVICES
The truck that handles the trash pick up is currently broken down. We are actively fixing it; I just wanted to keep you in the loop for the slight delay. Our goal is to get the town picked up today just a little bit later than the normal pick up.
___________________________________________________________________________________________________
On Tuesday, February 3, 2026, Allentown Rd at Yankee Rd. will be restricted to one lane of traffic between the hours of 9 AM and 3 PM.  Flaggers will be on site to manage the flow of traffic; delays are expected during morning and afternoon commute times.  The lane restriction is necessary due to a road opening to repair underground utility lines.  Work is scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, February 3rd & 4th  (if necessary).  For questions about this project, please contact the Trumbauersville Borough Office, 215-536-1761, between the hours of 8 AM and 4 PM.
Please plan an alternate route if possible.

Service message from Republic Services:

Good morning all,

As we all know we are expecting a sizable storm in our service area. I want to reassure you that our municipal customers come first in these types of weather events. Our plan is to be closed on Monday with the hope of re-opening on Tuesday. We will treat the pick up like a holiday week so for example if your normal service day is Monday, Monday would be moved to Tuesday. Tuesday would be Wednesday and then repeat until Saturday. My other concern is loss of power, which is another scenario hopefully doesn’t happen. If we do not run on Tuesday I will work with you on a specific plan for recovery. Again, any material that is in a cart or on the ground will be collected. We know to expect additional volumes. My ask, is to communicate to the residents if possible to have a clean collection area to the best of their abilities. Our teams will go above and beyond for service, but they can’t risk injury. My personal cellphone number is 908-323-6640. Could you forward me over the best number to reach after work hours in case we lose power or have limited ability to email back and forth. Thank you, in the meantime if you have any questions please feel free to reach out.

With this expected delay our plan is to service Trumbauersville on Thursday for both trash and recycling.

Customers who prepaid for trash at the beginning of the year have an extra $20 on the total due this quarter.

THIS IS AN ERROR.  PLEASE IGNORE THE TOTAL AMOUNT DUE.

The amount listed for Water under the Current Period Charges is the correct amount due

I apologize for the inconvenience. I’m working with billing software tech support to clear any miscellaneous charges.

Thank you for understanding.
